Its not a career ender like it used to be for football and soccer players but it does take a long recovery i believe the average length is 11monthsOh shit..I had one of those a couple of years ago.
Tough injury to come back from. He's young tho, so hopefully he can make a full recovery
11 months sounds about right, tho it depends on the severity. Some players are able to come all the way back, but it seems like some don't ever fully recover.
Cam and Le'Veon Bell are ones that come to mind. I can't think of any other NBA players who had it.
Thanks man. And that's wild about Preston. that guard out of Ohio U. I was wondering what happened to him, I didn't know he had a Lisfranc. He's an exciting player, a guard who does a lot of creative passes, overall really good player. I hope he's able to come back completely. Out of that list, 3 of the 5 had to had surgery, so that seems like a factor too. The ones who don't have to have surgery seem better off in the long run. It seems that way in football too. I could be missing something, but I didn't hear anything about surgery so far for Chet Holgrem, so I think that's a positive.Lisfranc injury: How 5 players returned after the foot diagnosis
